Terms & Conditions
Last updated October 18, 2026
Fescue Rescue is provided by Fescue Rescue, operated from Missouri, United States ("we", "us"), and is offered to customers in every US state. When you use Fescue Rescue you are contracting with Fescue Rescue. By using the service, or by continuing to use it after these terms change, you agree to these terms.
The service
Fescue Rescue gives educational lawn-care guidance based on your ZIP code, public weather forecasts and details you provide, plus an AI photo tool ("Weed ID"). Free features are available without an account; paid plans (Basic and Pro) add features described on the Plans page. You must be at least 18, or have authority to agree for your organization. Keep your sign-in details confidential and give accurate information.
Payments, renewals and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. See also our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including: using it unlawfully; fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; uploading malware, probing or attacking our systems, scraping, or circumventing limits; reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service. For Weed ID you must not upload illegal, hateful or abusive content, images of people without their consent, or attempt to jailbreak or manipulate the AI.
AI features and your content
- You are responsible for the photos you upload, for having the right to upload them, and for how you use the results.
- AI identifications can be wrong. Verify results, and always follow the product label and local regulations. Results are not professional, legal or pesticide-applicator advice.
- You keep rights in your photos and grant us a limited licence to process them only to provide the service. Outputs are yours to use, subject to these terms.
- We may filter, refuse or remove content and restrict or suspend accounts that misuse AI features. Rights-holders can report infringing content to us; repeat infringers will lose access.
Educational guidance only
Recommendations are educational. Product labels and local regulations always control. Soil information is unmeasured unless you provide it; a soil test is more reliable. Forecasts change.
Ownership
We own the service and its software, content, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan.
Service level and liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lawn damage, lost profits or data). Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You will indemnify us for claims arising from your content, unlawful use or breach of these terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. When access ends, data saved to your account is deleted within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are heard in Missouri courts. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a business transfer. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
